Ranch Dip from Scratch

A simple, homemade recipe with ingredients that you most likely already have on hand.

We are definitely a “dip” type family. 9 times out of 10, my kids can easily be enticed to try just about anything if I place a homemade dip beside it.

I used my chive blossom mayo as the base for this recipe (if you don’t have access to chive blossom’s you can skip that part of the recipe but you can still make your own mayo at home!)

This is not in any way sponsored, but ever since we found out about Keith’s Celiac diagnosis, we have been big fans of the Lighthouse Foods Brand since they have a large variety of Gluten Free items AND its labeled GF (if you know, you know). Their freeze-dried herbs have been such a delight to cook with.

We love Freeze Dried herbs so much that we actually ended up purchasing our own freeze dryer last year. Now listen, these freeze dryers are NOT cheap by any means and it was an investment. But in Eastern Washington with a seasonal garden, our herbs and veggies only last us one very short season. To get the most of our garden, we do freeze dry our herbs, etc. to be able to save/store them and cook with our homegrown garden goods all year long.
If you don’t have a garden or want to skip the large purchase of a freeze dryer, I would 10/10 recommend the lighthouse herbs because they truly are the next best thing. I have all the herbs linked in the recipe below.
