This was our first winter where we hit negative temps for about a week straight. (Spoiler alert, it was chilly!). And I will say, the gear that I wear passed the test.

I will say, the one thing I cannot tolerate is being cold. So I am not gatekeeping any of my favorite gear in this post!

The Patagonia Jacket I wear on the outside (long black outside layer) is perfect on the extremely cold or windy days. Its also perfect if you don’t want to wear another puffy jacket underneath (since it has a very warm insulated liner). If it’s just normal cold temps, I do totally fine with the Arc’teryx under my bibs.
