Our ground beef comes from our USDA-processed Highland x Galloway cattle, raised naturally on pasture and finished on alfalfa cut straight from our own fields.

All beef is delivered in a frozen state and must be kept at or below 0°F (-18°C) to maintain safety and quality, per USDA guidelines. If we are meeting you for a delivery, it is your responsibility to bring a cooler with sufficient ice or ice packs to maintain proper temperature during transport. Beef should be transferred to a freezer immediately upon arriving home. Hillside Highland is not responsible for any thawing, spoilage, or food safety concerns resulting from failure to keep the product at safe frozen temperatures after delivery.
