Please make sure you have done your research on adding a Highland to your fold / herd. We ask that you remember these are herd animals and they thrive with other cattle vs. being alone.

why we love highland cattle
Their beef is very low in fat and cholesterol while remaining high in protein.
In our experience, we have not had to intervene much. We like to let them live as close to nature as possible.
Don't get us wrong, they are a wild animal. But overall, most have a calm demeanor.
They do not require a barn. That shaggy double coat is a nice insulator (Ours love hanging out in the trees)
